This policy covers the Plate Game app for iPhone and iPad, made by SOME Studio, LLC.
The short version
Plate Game doesn't collect any information about you. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and we don't share anything with anyone.
What stays on your device
The app stores your game on your device: which plates you've found, when you found them, and your settings. We can't see this information. It stays on your device and is included in your normal device backups, such as iCloud Backup, which Apple controls under its own privacy policy. If you delete the app, this information is deleted too.
Location
The distance-to-capital feature is optional. If you turn it on, the app asks for permission to use your location while the app is open. Your location is used only on your device, to work out how far away each state's capital is. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not stored or logged. You can turn location off at any time in the app or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
No third parties
Plate Game contains no third-party code that collects data: no advertising networks, no analytics tools and no tracking. The app doesn't need an internet connection to work.
Children
Plate Game is designed for families. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
App Store
Apple handles downloads, payments and App Store reviews under its own privacy policy. Apple may give developers aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as download counts. These don't identify you.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
